The character of the backyard here at Anchovy World Headquarters, is defined by all the mature trees on the edges of the property, which give the whole place a cottage-like atmosphere. The margins feature shallow and exposed roots from the huge spruces that surround the yard. When we moved in, these areas were bare soil and roots. Since, we’ve enhanced these areas into wood-chip and mulch paths, adding a path around the bbq and the deck over to Tuffy P’s studio. Over the past couple days, I’ve added more mulch to refresh the paths. The dogs approve. They like to roll on the mulch and Memphis has already buried a bone in it.
