Here’s Paulino Bernal

Paulino Bernal was born in 1939. Along with his brother Eloy and their group El Conjunto Bernal, he was a conjunto innovator and a diatonic accordion master, integrating an array of musical influences. In the early 70’s he gave up the “devil’s music” and became a Christian evangelist. A couple years ago, Bernal released his first album of polkas in many many years, EL Maestro Del Acordeon Y Sus Polkas.

If you get a chance, please come and check out my site at chanceman4. My name is Chris Chance and there is a link on my blog to listen to my CD, “Following You” featuring “You” and “His Prints Are in the Sand” (based on the Footprints poem). Also you can go to http://www.noisetrade.com/chrischance. You can download any or all of my songs for the price of your choosing…pretty good deal…you can even get them for free, as long as you put in an email address and zip code. We are trying to get this project up and moving, so anything you can do and any way you could pass it on would be greatly appreciated.Hope you enjoy and are blessed by it!!!!
    Thanks and God Bless!
    Chris

Well, it looks to me that you were doing broad searches for Christian music or Christian sites in order to access that demographic for your music, and came across this blog either because I posted a Paulino Bernal video or because I mentioned that he became a Christian evangelist.

I should point out that my interest in Mr. Bernal has everything to do with his history as a Conjunto accordionist and nothing to do with the evangelical part of his life, about which I know nothing. In any case, making a comment whose sole purpose is promoting your own music or your religion is getting dangerously close to spam.

Have your say...
