What you have there can be considered a sort of best before date. The Flintstones tv series made its debut in 1960 and many companies used Flintstones little figure thingies as a promotional item back then. Probably the chocolate egg was made in about 1961 or about 54 years ago. Maybe they were what retailers call slow moving inventory. Hope she didnt eat the egg 🙂

It was the prize in a chocolate egg…sort of like a Kinder egg but not a kinder egg. It looks like it was made for the Austrian market. Tuffy P found it at the checkout at Starsky’s, which is a local grocery store that is a favourite in the Polish-Canadian community around here.
