Today George and Ruby and I were out walking along Lakeshore and we stopped in at Long Branch Animal Clinic – an excellent team of vets. I wanted to get George’s ear checked – he’s got a bit of an infection in his right ear – and as well, I wanted to put Ruby on the scale.

At just over 5 months on the planet, Ruby is 66.2 pounds. She will continue to grow over the next several months but her growth rate should start to slow down some soon. As I recall, Memphis was 108 pounds when she was 1 year old.
