I took a short break from making collages after completing the Underground book, which I wrote about recently.

I missed that regular improvisational play, though, so I chose a couple more books to repurpose.

I think Nelson Nye’s A Lost Mine Named Salvation is going to become a sketch pad. Last night I did the first collage in Kevin Bazzana’s Lost Genius – The Story of a Forgotten Musical Maverick.

I enjoy making these collages. The images develop in all kinds of ways, and each session is full of surprises.
