The ukulele orchestra of Great Britain has a website and on it are 3-4 links to other sites where you can go to learn to play the uke. One of the sites was billed as being very basic so of course I went there to have a look. I have never picked up a ukulele in my life but thanks to this site I think I would be able to play one competently with a half hour of practice. Basically they said there were 3 basic chords and they showed how to finger them. Then they explained that if you had trouble playing one of the chords just play a different one instead and SING LOUDER. Piece of cake.
