I’m usually nervous around big dogs (a phobia is a phobia), but I think if I saw Memphis coming, I’d know what a sweetie she is. Some dogs just look like they’ve got nothing but love to give.

Have you run into the people who are terrified of big dogs yet? I try to tell these people that they’re much more likely to be bitten by a small, yappy, high-strung dog, but they never believe me. Our 75 lb lab is a big wuss that loves everybody, and lets small dogs boss him around.
