Please be very very careful about eating wild mushrooms. Be 100% certain you have identified the mushroom correctly before eating it. Ideally, find someone who is knowledgeable to help you until you feel certain you have the identification correctly. Also keep in mind that some people have no problem with certain mushrooms while they might make others ill. If you’ve never eaten a particular wild mushroom before, after you’ve identified it 100% correctly, and you’re sure it is a safe edible, cook and eat only a very small portion the first time to see how your body handles it.
I once read a book that was centered around trillium (fiction) must be something to see a whole field of them up close like that-i think to some people they represent the trinity, too.
