A significant portion of the snow on the ground melted away over the past couple days here in the South West corner of Toronto, but this afternoon a cold sharp wind put an end to that business. It was very cold this evening when I took the dogs out for their run, cold enough to make standing around at the dog park a bad idea. Of course the dogs didn’t care. For Newfs, it was just right. That’s just what you get when you have a thick double fur coat.

My huskies have the double coat too. They’ll hate the next few days as it warms up.
I hear you’ve been having a tough winter in the east. We can’t seem to get rid of the rain. Pours on like its trying to drown all the grass in sight.
