3 cats a-playin’

You should have no problem spotting the three cats at play in this photo. Can you name them too?

In the foreground is an excellent early season example of Amanita chipbowlius, a toadstool indigenous to the Long Branch area of Southern Ontario.

Is that shelter up to code? and ummm when do the hobos move in?

I had some wood kicking around last year and I thought the cats would enjoy a playhouse. It almost collapsed over winter, so I did a little bit of renovation to it a couple weeks ago and it might last another season. As you can see, it’s a focal point for the lions.

That’s one large mushroom! And at this time of year! đŸ™‚

I couldn’t help but read Barbara’s reply so I can’t claim to name them all. I could only remember Jacques and Jerry though.

Jacques and Jerry are there for sure, but that other chubby bumpkin isn’t Delia. Delia’s just a skinny little thing these days. It’s Rossi. When Rossi adopted us, back at the old Anchovy World Headquarters, he was literally half the cat he is now. So determined was he to join our clan that we nicknamed him ABC for Always Be Closing.

Have your say...
