Garden Update

I plan to periodically post photos of our gardens so I can look back and see what they looked like at different times of the season.

Here’s the big garden in the front yard. Later, Sunflowers will dominate the front of it. There are two serviceberries and a dogwood in the middle that will anchor it. You can’t really see the trellis very well. It’s just to the left of the large rear rock and it has clematis climbing it.

This garden doesn’t always get the attention of the others, but Tuffy P. has done a great job cleaning this one up and weeding it.

We created this little garden last year near the front steps.

It’s semi shady in these gardens and the one on the right tends to be moist.

I’m calling this one the lean-to garden because of the lean-to structure behind it.

This garden received some new rocks today, replacing some of the pre-cast items I originally bordered it with. I had found those back along the fence-line after we moved in.

Another view of the back yard from our deck.
