This morning I made “meat sticks” or patychky to bring along to my sister’s for Christmas Eve dinner. My mom used to make these every high holiday. I try to do it once each year, since she’s not around to make them anymore.

I plan to make some for New Year’s. They’re Myke’s faves. He just calls them Meat on a Stick. I alternate pork and beef tenderloin on skewers; dip them in egg and seasoned breadcrumbs and then bake them basting with broth occasionally. Thanks for the reminder!
I’ve got to make these soon. No problem finding perfectly fatty iberian pork here…
