Yeah that is pretty close to the way it is done here in the wilds of Mulmur. The Canadian Fiddle Championship is held in Shelburne every year so we are awash with fiddlers. The main difference is our stringbands dont play that sproingy kazoo thingy. No. There are usually some in the audience who bring their own and play along.
