Today we visited Nice Old Stuff in Jarvis ON and came home with a car-full of stuff we couldn’t live without. Among the things we found was a fantastic maple syrup can – English on one side, French on the other. It is in excellent shape and is going to be perfect for a maple syrup can banjo. It will be a sweet instrument if you know what I mean. That’s on my to-do list right after I get around to finishing the mountain banjo that’s been on the go in the workshop for too long. Time to refocus…

Another fun item we found there was what I can only call a dream on a stick. I installed it in the garden as soon as we got home. (look just under the canoe in the picture)

HA! “Dream on a stick.”
LOVE this can. Nice that we can sort of roam from hobby to hobby and come back to projects we started earlier. I think it keeps things interesting! Now, if I’d only finish something…
