Mean it too…

I’ve been listening David Bromberg’s music quite a lot lately. I really appreciate how eclectic he is, rambling all over the music landscape. He’s a wonderful guitarist and he plays other instruments such as mandolin as well. Here’s a live performance of You’ve got to Mean it Too, which is on his Only Slightly Mad recording.  What a beautiful tune.  This is from eTown, shared from the YouTube.

I highly recommend Mr. Bromberg’s recordings, and particularly his last two, Only Slightly Mad and Use me.

    Thanks for sharing Angus.
Barb, Bromberg is an excellent and very unsual performer in that he plays such a wide variety of music. I love his singing and is guitar playing too!

    Heh Eugene,

I am a little late commented on a question you threw out to the forum on what new music people are listening too so hear is a couple of them.

The first one is a guy (his sister and brother play with him as well) that is taleneted beyond his years….My nephew and neice introduced me and we all had the chance to see them together the whole family at the Drake hotel …coincidently his first show in Canada.

    Noah Gunderson

The second band is a favorite of my nephews….I saw them live at the phoenix with him 2012 …..My nephew also travelled and leaved in NYC last summer and was taught by the mandolin player to play that instrument

    Newgrass they call it….

I dig this cover of dylan too…

    CHeers for now

The rumour (first heard from you, I believe) is that he will be playing the Calgary Folk Fest this year. I will definitely seek him out.
