We were very fortunate to have been invited to the annual 519 Gala tonight. The 519 is a fantastic community centre on Church St. in Toronto – and tonight k.d. lang gave a special performance in the centre’s ballroom. Great performance and a very nice dinner as well – and as a bonus we met some great people.

Candy, I liked her performance a lot – it was in a small room and with just the pianist, it was a really intimate performance.
Sounds like a wonderful evening. k.d. lang is shockingly good in person…as incredible as her her voice is on record, it really changes something to see her perform live. I’m curious about the menu?
