For those who are visiting this blog for the first time, Memphis, one of our two Newfoundland dogs, had surgery a few weeks back as a result of a ligament problem at her rear right knee. She continues to get stronger and improve, and she’s been walking with more confidence and comfort. She’s now typically taking two walks every day with George, and over the past couple weeks she has been swimming a two or three times each week (which she loves!).

Memphis is very happy to be included on walks with George again, and in general she’s been in really good spirits since she’s become more active. As well, over the past two weeks or so her appetite has improved. We moved her up to a second walk each day when she let Tuffy P know she wanted to go, and she seems to be handling that well.
