There are some excellent performers coming to Guelph Ontario for Banjofest this coming weekend. Ted (the guitar picker I play music with) and I will be going to see April Verch & Joe Newberry, two of my favourite performers, on Saturday evening. If there are still tickets available and you’re able to get to Guelph, this is going to be a fabulous show!

I’m very fortunate to have taken some workshops and participated in jams with Joe Newberry at Midwest Banjo Camp in the past. Joe is a really excellent, encouraging teacher and a very likable guy too.
