Wow! I remember Fernwood Tonight. Our parents always debated about letting us watch this program. Sometimes they decided it wasn’t age appropriate, but they always relented when it came on.
Fernwood 2night was one of the funniest programs to ever air on television. It was of course a spin off of the even funnier Mary Hartman show in which Martin Mull portrayed not only Barth but also his brother Garth. WD Bud Prize and his chinodontist were hilarious. Geez they just dont do tv like that anymore. Sad really.
I really loved the show too. Sometimes they would have a would-be daredevil on. I think his name may have been Virgil Simms. He would come on with plans to do stuff like jump several motorcycles in a motorhome. Har!
