Tuffy P just got back from the annual plant sale the Roselands Horticultural Society puts on up at Eglinton Flats.
Many of the plants come from the gardens of members of Roselands. Over the years we’ve purchased many healthy plants at prices much lower than you see at nurseries.
That’s our friend Keith Arnott in the picture, helping out at the sale.
It was great to see Tuffy P today; unfortunately I didn’t get much of a chance to chat. The plants I had Keith hand her at the end were two you had seen in our front garden last year and liked: Cephalaria gigantea https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/details?plantid=366 (which I think I incorrectly labelled on the plant tag as Scabiosa gigantea) and Miscanthus ‘morning light’ http://www.finegardening.com/eulalia-grass-miscanthus-sinensis-%E2%80%98morning-light%E2%80%99 Just so you know/remember what they are.
