There is a broken robin’s egg on the ground underneath this nest. However, this bird continues to sit on the nest, so there must be others.
The bird-life has been amazing around our 27th Street home. There is plenty of nest building activity going on. Sitting quietly out on the back deck, more and more birds reveal themselves. Before going outside, I was on the phone with my brother, and as we talked, I watched through the window, and a male Baltimore Oriole landed in the locust tree out front.
