As regular visitors to this oasis in the blog-o-swamp know, our Newfoundland dog George suffered a cut to the pad on his front left paw at some point in late summer. It was in a difficult spot and it took a really long time to heal.
As a result, his walking has been restricted, and we haven’t taken the dogs to their fave play spot – the leash-free area along Etobicoke Creek in a really long time.
George’s paw is finally healed up, and with snow on the horizon, we decided to take The Partners out to Etobicoke Creek this afternoon. They were so excited to hop in the car and have an adventure. Ruby even went for a couple swims. George didn’t go in the water, but he did goof around with some other dogs and I know he had a fun time.
Happy Boy! It is a great trail to cycle!
