“All this construction is for the birds,” says local resident.
Today I set up a tripod out on the deck so I could get some steady video of the robins in their nest. A party breaks out when one of the adult robins returns to the nest with some grub.
The baby robins are growing. They want lunch and they want it now. We can watch the action from our deck. The nest is in our huge Norway spruce.
There is a broken robin’s egg on the ground underneath this nest. However, this bird continues to sit on the nest, so there must be others. The bird-life has been amazing around our 27th Street home. There is plenty of nest building activity going on.… Read More
