I heard today that Allen Toussaint died yesterday after performing a show in Madrid. Mr. Toussaint was 77. He was one of the monster talents of New Orleans music, a brilliant pianist, songwriter, performer and producer.

Banjo practice – Arkansas Traveler
Arkansas Traveler is a nice old fiddle tune with a catchy melody. I spent some practice time tonight just working on this tune, trying to really relax into it. It still needs some work to get the timing down.
