How to make a frittata

My friend and Agency Podcast co-host Candy asked me to show her how to make a frittata. We did that this afternoon and Candy filmed it. Tomorrow we’ll be talking frittata on the next episode of The Agency Podcast during one of our regular Comfort Food Diner segments. While you’re waiting for the new episode to drop, please enjoy the video.

Do you make frittatas at home? How do you go about it? What are your fave ingredients?

Downchild with Peter Appleyard

I know I’ve shared this video somewhere along the way, but I recently revisited it on the YouTube and it’s just so good I had to share it again. It’s the Downchild Blues Band at Albert’s Hall here in Toronto, back in the day. I love the interplay between the fabulous Jane Vasey and vibes great Peter Appleyard. Sadly, they’re both gone now. Turn up the volume, sit back and listen to these boogie-masters at work. You may have to listen to it several times in a row. I did.

Find the Snowy Owl

We’re fortunate to live in an area where most winters at least one snowy owl sets up shop. During the day, this one can often be seen sitting on a dock, way out in the harbour. Occasionally we will see one in a spot where we can get a closer look, but that is fairly rare.

Tinker, Tailor, Podcaster

The new episode of The Agency Podcaster is up. Sorry we’re a day late this week. You can listen here or find it in all the good podcast places.

Today the Agency revisits the 1979 BBC mini-series Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy, starring Alec Guinness. We discuss a fabulous 2012 documentary about students and teachers at a Brooklyn middle school – a school which consistently wins national chess championships. It’s called Brooklyn Castle. Finally, we provide an overview of several series we’ve been watching, including Flight Attendant, The Ripper, Your Honor and Quarry. Please join us.

We love to hear from you.
